Roger "Hurricane" Wilson
Twenty-five years ago he taught hundreds of people how to play guitar. In 1972 he began playing professionally. He jammed with Roy Buchanan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins, Lucky Peterson, Charlie Musselwhite, and Carl Weathersby. He shared the stage doing shows with B.B. King, Taj Mahal, Roomful of Blues, Dickey Betts, Leon Russell, Edgar Winter, Snooky Pryor, Bobby Rush, W.C. Clark, Bernard Allison, and Walter Trout. Now the Hurricane follows his own forecast. From festival to juke joint, he plays over 250 nights a year. With 4 CDs on the market, and tours throughout the US, Canada, and the UK, this storm stays in perpetual motion.
